Barns & British Blooms - Susanna & Nate's Rustic Wildflower Wedding

Hi all,

Today's real wedding is quite a recent one, in fact it happened just this month!  Usually there is a slight delay in getting the pictures as with photographers most of the work is done after the wedding with all the editing, so it was a brilliant surprise to have some preview photographs to share with you so soon.

Susanna and Nate got married at the Town Hall then had their reception at Whirlow Hall Farm in what I believe is the lambing barn, how brilliant!  As you will see from the photographs it added real character and atmosphere to the day, what a fab location.

Susanna wanted a very rustic, natural and meadowy feel to her bouquet with plenty of herbs and fragrance.  They wanted seasonality to play a part too so the flowers T and Mel chose were ammi, flowering oregano, mint, cosmos, astrantia, gypsophila, panicum grass and lavender plus we kept with the natural theme and finished the design with twine.

Susanna was thrilled with the end results and sent us a lovely e-mail saying ...

"You did such an amazing job with the flowers - they were so beautiful and it was such a lovely 'surprise' to have on the day!".  We were also told that Susanna mentioned us in her speech which is such a massive compliment we were all really chuffed.

We would like to thank the very talented Joy at Unique Wedding Planning for introducing us to Susanna and Nate, we just love working with you and also Mark Tierney Photography for letting us have access to such incredible shots, we have been assured there are more to come so watch this space.
