British Flowers Week - Our secret garden shoot

Hi all,

So as you will all be aware from our Facebook page and other social media we have just celebrated British Flower's Week and what better way to celebrate than to do a stunning shoot featuring all British grown flowers with some awesome suppliers in a secret location.  These photographs originally featured on Boho Wedding Blog but here it is again in all glory just in case you missed and also just because it's such a beautiful shoot and we love it.

British flowers are a subject quite close to our hearts here at Campbell's and wherever possible we use locally grown British blooms in our designs.  For this photoshoot we really wanted to showcase these local hero's and show people why locally grown really is the best.  Seasonality is key when picking British as they look better, last longer and smell amazing!

Here are a selection of the stunning pictures taken on the sunniest day in May, hand picked for your pleasure.  I suggest you pour and ice cold lemonade, sit back and enjoy!

Abi and Ollie's 99 Mary Street Wedding - last minute plans and shocking shades!

Hi all,

Abi booked us quite soon to her wedding day which is quite uncommon with us considering we already have 2018 bookings, but if we have the day free are always more than happy to oblige!

Abi and Ollie got married this January just gone but you wouldn't know it with the gorgeous winter sun and the stunningly bright colour pallet.

For her bouquet Abi something very pretty and very meadowy the flowers T chose were sweet scented bright yellow mimosa, limonium, shocking pink carnations, exotic protea, freesia and eucalyptus.  Abi had a matching floral piece for her hair too.

The bridesmaids bouquets were kept simple using only foliage with stunning foliage crowns.  Oli's buttonhole was again kept simple, sitting nicely next to his lovely teal tie.

Check out all the gorgeous images below, we are especially loving the converse!  Enjoy!

Campbell's Flower School - Sheffield Workshops at it's Finest

Hi all,

So with our Spring/Summer workshops just around the corner I thought I would pop a blog post together featuring some of the amazing feedback that we have had from the lovely lot that come along to our classes.

It really is such a great evening, the atmosphere is always really great and T's floral knowledge will fill you with the confidence to go away and create something pretty special at home too as well as in the class.  Also I'm always on hand with the kettle on, this floristry lark can be thirsty work!

So here is what our clients had to say:

"I just want to say a massive thank you to you for your workshop tonight.  I have had a fantastic time and have already booked for the next one.  You are a wonderful teacher and have really encouraged me towards a career change onto floristry.  I am going to have a good look into courses but in the meantime I'll be booking onto all of your workshops! - Sarah P"

"I can't express how much fun I had with my friend Adele.  Lots of giggles and a very warm and welcoming environment.  I surprised myself with what I could create with the help of the fabulous Tracey and definitely want to come and do another one. - Sara"

"Alice and I had a great time and will definitely be trying to make my own wreaths next year.  Would also love to come to other workshops. - Jennifer"

"I had such a wonderful time and really learnt some great skills which I will definitely be putting to use in the future.  I am so pleased with my arrangement and was delighted with the materials on offer at the workshop. - Meredith"

"Despite feeling unwell I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed last night and was delighted with the finished arrangement having never done anything like that before! - Sarah"

If you are interested in booking onto one of our workshops then just follow this link.  We will see you there!

Merete and Peter's Knowsley Hall Wedding - Classically Grand

Hi all,

A couple of weeks ago you may have seen on our Facebook page that we received a gorgeous thank you card from one of our couples, Merete and Peter, well here is their rather grand and rather beautiful wedding!

Merete and Peter got married at Knowsley Hall in Prescott which, as you will see from the photographs, is a really beautiful location.  Merete really wanted the flowers to compliment this Georgian stately home so all the floral designs were kept soft and romantic with the neutral colour pallet slotting nicely into the surroundings.

For her bouquet Merete wanted something really feminine and again nice and soft with smaller and larger blooms adding plenty of texture.  The flowers and foliage chosen were brunia, eucalyptus, David Austin roses, bloom roses, spray roses, lisianthus, dahlia, astrantia, powder blue delphinium and senecio.

The bridesmaids had a similar design to the bride but slightly smaller.  Buttonholes were again in keeping with the surroundings and kept to a classic focal style with an ivory ribbon finish.

Massive thanks to Aquilino Moreno for letting us use these gorgeous images.  Enjoy!
