Queen Anne's Lace - A summer bouquet tutorial

Hello lovelies

Well, with the lovely Becky & Mark's wedding done this week, it's all set to be a weekend of consultations and meeting lots of fab new brides.

This week Kate & I also made some fantastic new  blogging friends in the shape of Lou from Whimsical Wonderland Weddings and Julia from Brides Up North, both of whom featured our work, which was just so exciting!

So, just in case you missed it, here's our little tutorial on how to put together a foraged, summer wedding bouquet, you can pop back to the link above on Lou's blog or, we've also made a video which we've uploaded onto our YouTube Channel

Do make sure though, that if you are thinking of making your own bouquet, that you give yourself plenty of time, practice at least two or three times in advance, to make sure you can get the effect you're looking for and don't forget to cut everything you need and place it all in tepid water to drink for at least 24 hours before you want to work with it.  This way it has a better chance of 'standing up' (florist speak for not going all droopy on you after 5 minutes!).

Here's the link to our video - let me know how you get on, I'd love to hear of your experiences, or send me a pic of what you've made and any queries you might have and I'll be sure to get back to you.

Right, I need to get on with sorting my flowery order for next week's weddings - of which there are three, all different and all beautiful!  We'll be bringing you more on the Brides Up North story too very soon, but 'til then, enjoy!
