Wootton Park Wedding - Rebecca's very kind words,

Hi all,

We are so lucky to work with some really lovely brides.  As readers of our blog will know, many of them are referred by friends of Campbell's, and we are so proud to be referred by the amazing guys at Unique Wedding Planning. Joy and Josh work tirelessly with couples to create all manner of different wedding days and because of this, we've been lucky enough to design a really wonderful range of gorgeousness this year.

Rebecca and Mervyn got married in June and just wanted to fill their day with flowers which was just music to our ears.  It seems that T's extremely hard work paid off when we received these kind words from the bride.  You guys really are worth the late nights, early morning and aching feet.  We love you!!

"Hi Tracey,

Hope that you managed to have a bit of a rest since doing our flowers!  A huge job, putting everything together.

We and our guest were absolutely bowled over by the floral displays.  They far exceeded my expectations of the brief and your initial design ideas which were fabulous in the first place.  Thank you so much for transforming our venue into a romantic, vintage styled indoor garden - and the bridal flowers were a perfect accessory to my hair and dresses.  I already have some pictures from our guest which feature your artistry, as a beautiful back drop to our day.

Our house and many other guests houses are now decorated with elements of the displays - which also scent our rooms.

Thanks again
Rebecca and Mervyn"

Below I have included some photographs of the venue that were taken by us but we should be getting some professional ones soon so watch this space.

Helen and James, Whitley Hall - Spring sprigs and sensational scents.

Hi all,

Today I am bringing you a super spring wedding from May this year.  Helen and James got married at Darfield Church then straight onto Whitley Hall which is becoming quite a familiar venue to us now, which we love.  Helen was actually brought to us by her sister Katy who's wedding we designed for last  year.  Katy was one of the bridesmaids too.  We just love it when we get recommended by other brides but it's even more special when we get to design for someone else within the family, so thanks ladies.

Helen wanted a wild rustic feel to the flowers with a 'just picked' vibe.  The colour pallet was blush, cream and pale pink with a touch of lilac.  T designed something which wasn't too compact with a touch of softness to it.  The flowers chosen were Yorkshire lavender (keeping it local), wheat, green bell, pink gypsophila, 'Jana' spray roses, cream double lisianthus, 'vendella' roses, 'Sweet Avalanche' roses, lilac limonium, rosemary, astrantis 'Roma', raspberry veronica and blue thistles. From these ingredients we were also able to provide hair flowers as seen in the pictures below.

The bridesmaids had a similar design to the brides but slightly smaller.  James wore a sprig design buttonhole with plenty of rosemary, lavender and wheat.  It smelt divine!

Massive thanks to Laura Calderwood for the fantastic photographs.

Kind words from a gorgeous bride!

Hi all,

So we have said it before and we will say it again, we do love our jobs.  However, during wedding season it can be bit of a hard slog full of early mornings and late nights, heavy lifting and running about, so when we get e-mails like the one below it makes us instantly forget our aching limbs and tired eyes.  Thank you so much for this Ali we are so happy that we helped make your day exactly what you imagined.  We will definitely keep doing what we are doing for a long time to come because you guys are so worth it!

"Tracey,

I can't quite put into words how to thank you for the flowers this weekend.  They were amazing, absolutely stunning, the bouquets were everything I imagined, the peonies were just gorgeous.

Hannah and Ben the photographers came back up to the room and I asked them what the flower curtain looked like, they said they'd been to this venue a few times now and they'd never seen it look as stunning as what it did.  As I walked in to walk down the aisle, they took my breath away, it was brilliant and we've had quite a few photo's taken around this........loved loved loved it.

The table flowers were amazing too - the whole place looked beatiful.

You were so right about the flowers for my hair, Amy actually ended up using a couple of the smaller roses you included for Gaels (bridesmaid hair, she had the small bud roses) as the single rose was a little big, so god knows what I'd have looked like with a Peony stuck to the side of my head!!  The flowers she put in were just perfect.

Again, can't thank you enough, just amazing flowers, amazing decorations, you guys are amazing.

Thank you Ali xx"

Here are a few snaps of the flowers from Ali and Jamie's wedding taken by our very own Queen T. We should hopefully be receiving professional photos soon so watch this space.
