Cath and Ben's Sheffield Town Hall Wedding - Wild and wonderful

Hi all,

Although I have written quite a few blogs this year, this is the first wedding I have been able to blog that actually took place in 2018.  It's so exciting when the professional pictures start to filter through, what a great start to the wedding season!

Cath and Ben got married in February with a ceremony at the Sheffield Town Hall followed by a reception at the Leopold Hotel and Couch.  The whole vibe for the day was super laid back and informal.  The colour pallet for the florals was greens, whites, silvers, blue thistle and steely colours with a tiny hint of burgundy which complimented the blue suits beautifully.

For her bouquet Cath wanted quite a wild asymmetric design with plenty of texture.  Bridesmaids had more of a posy design using flowers and foliage from the theme.  Buttonholes were kept to a sprig design to match the wild style of the brides bouquet.

Big thanks to Mark from Tierney Photography for the stunning images.

Ultra Violet - How to use this year's Pantone colour for 2018 in your wedding flowers

Hi all,

Last month our very own T appeared on Boho Weddings chatting all about this year's Pantone colour of the year, Ultra Violet and how you can introduce it into your wedding flowers.  Here is what T had to say about it:

Yep, this is no wall flower of a colour.  No humble hue happy to sit unnoticed in the shade or quietly blend in.  No, this, dear readers, is a showstopper.  A dazzler.  A statement maker.  And I for one can't get enough of it.  Pretty much as vivid as it's possible for a colour to be, this deep and rich purple has long been associated with royalty and has more that a hint of cosmic about it.

It hasn't been without controversy though,  and not everyone, has rushed to embrace it.  In the design world Ultra Violet has experienced something of a 'Marmite moment' and divided opinion in the worlds of fashion and interiors.  Flowers, however, offer a huge variety of ways to include it, play with it and truly get creative with it, so we want to show you how Ultra Violet can work for your wedding,  so pop on Purple Rain and get ready to be inspired.

PR so far...

Hi all,

So far this year we have been overwhelmed with the amount of blogs and mags that have been kind enough to feature our work.  We just love getting creative whether it be a wedding or a photoshoot and we fall in love with every design that we produce so it's beyond amazing when fellow industry professionals do too.  We can't thank you all enough for showing us the respect and giving us the kudos by sharing our work with the world.

I have put together a selection of appearances below along with the links just in case you missed any of them.  We can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for us.
