Antonia & Tim, Whirlowbrook Hall, Sheffield - Whites, Creams, Champagnes and Vintage Styling

Hi all,

Today I am bringing you a wedding from a warm September day this year at Whirlowbrook Hall, a venue that is truely beautiful and well worth a visit.

Antonia and Tim wanted a very relaxed and informal day with a natural and rustic look with a vintage style.  The colour pallet was whites and greens with subtle blush and champagne tones along with silver foliage.

T went to work creating an all round hand tied which had a soft look and plenty of texture.  The flowers used were dahlia, gypsophila, eucalyptus, silver brunia, sencio, succulents, 'Jana' spray roses and 'Vendella' roses.

The bridesmaid had a similar design to the bride just slightly smaller.  For the buttonholes the couple chose a classic focal style with a twine finish.

For me though the venue decorations were a real work of art, that urn design is absolutely stunning. The tall table decorations are proving quite a popular choice, you still get the breathtaking volume of flowers but with the vase being tall and transparent, the guests can talk to each other and see what's going on without their view being obscured.

As always it's now time to credit and share with you the super talented person behind the camera which on this occasion was Amie Parsons.  Follow the link to check out more of her great work.

Winter Florals and Stunning Shots

Hi all!

A couple of months ago we had a slight dusting of snow here in Sheffield and what most of us saw as a cold inconvenience Shelley saw as an opportunity to head out to the peaks and take some incredible photographs.  T quickly got involved and designed a gorgeous bouquet with an asymmetric shape packed full of wintry florals.  The colour pallet for the flowers was whites and silvers which complimented the surrounding scenery beautifully.  T also designed a flower crown which again reflected the wild landscape.  So snuggle up, sit back and enjoy these stunning shots.

Eirien and Gabriel - A Sheffield Botanical Gardens Story

Hi all,

Today we are bringing you the story Eirian and Gabriel.  They got married last October - it was a later ceremony with with friends and family travelling from the likes of North Wales and North Spain!  The emphasis was placed on the actual wedding and catching up with friends and family leaving little time for photographs.  As a result, the couple contacted Sarah at Key Reflections photography to take some photographs of them at Sheffield Botanical Gardens then Sarah in turn contacted us to make a bouquet for the gorgeous bride.  We love getting involved in things like this so were really excited and happy to help out and play a small part in these gorgeous photos.

T designed a a gorgeous bouquet with a purple and dusky pink colour pallet, a round design with soft edges and a meadowy feel to it.

Foliage Flower Inspiration

Hi all,

So a couple of months back we brought you Luxe floral inspiration  as part of our regular 'Ask the Experts' feature on the lovely Boho Weddings blog. Well today we are talking all about foliage.  T spoke about the foliage flower trend as a guest on Kelly's blog, but here she is on our own blog to tell you all about it.  I'll now pass you over to T:

Hello all.  Can I start by saying that we are huge fans of the green stuff,  Not only is it incredibly versatile but it's a wonderful way of 'bringing the outside in' - something which works really well with the ethos here at Campbell's HQ of creating beautiful designs which let the materials we are working with really shine.  We adore all forms, colours and textures it comes in and have found our fashion forward brides are embracing foliage in favour of last year's much used, white gypsophila.
