Unveiled Magazine - Big Love, Bursting Blossoms

Hi all,

We are chuffed to bits that yet again we find our work on the glossy pages of a wedding magazine.  There is something quite special about seeing one of T's designs in print with our little company name at the bottom!

This time we are in Unveiled Magazine which we always like to have flick through.  Amelia's bouquet pops up in a feature about the large bouquet trend which we blogged about a month ago (we do like to stay ahead of the times).  If you would like to read more about this trend and how you can apply it to your wedding then just follow this link to read more.

This copy Unveiled Magazine is available from all good newsagents!

Joanna and Dave's Chatsworth House Wedding - Classic style with a grand backdrop

Hi all,

Today we are bringing you a wedding from August this year.  Joanna was actually referred to us by her lovely sister Philippa who got married at Heathy Lea not long after we first started Campbell's. Referrals are absolutely fantastic and such an honour, as it really shows us how happy brides were with their flowers. Anyway, back to Joanna and Dave! The couple chose to get married at the rather grand Chatsworth House and as you will see from the photographs it did make quite the backdrop.

The general theme for the flowers was bringing the outdoors in.  Joanna wanted quite a natural, pretty look without it being too meadowy.  For the bridal bouquet T created quite a classic, romantic round hand tied which was quite compact with a little softness.  The flowers chosen were dahlia, 'Vendella' roses, cream lisianthus, green lisianthus, pink wax flower, astilbe and silver foliage.

Bridesmaids had something very similar but slightly smaller and slightly more colourful. with the addition of pretty pastel blue colours.  Buttonholes were a focal style with a little wax flower to finish off.

Massive thanks to Jon from S6 Photography for the photographs they are totally amazing!  So here they are guys, enjoy!

Claire and Mark's Sheffield Botanical Gardens and Roco Wedding - Rainy days, happy faces and soft, seasonal flowers.

Hi all,

Like so many of our couples choose to do, Claire and Mark actually got officially married on Friday, the day before their 'wedding' day.  The day after, they chose a humanist ceremony with all their friends and family which is where we stepped in to design the flowers.  The couple met at the Botanical Gardens for gorgeous 'first look' photos and lovely shots with family (many of whom live far from Sheffield).  Then it was on to Roco for the humanist ceremony (intimately performed by a close friend) and reception.  Claire and Mark were so relaxed and as you can see, not even a spot of rain put them off having a great time.

In terms of flowers the couple wanted quite a neutral colour pallet with lots of seasonal flowers. Venue decorations were pretty potted lavender and silver succulents, along with shiny glass baubles hung from the cool, urban architecture, filled with white carnations for a touch of drama. For the brides bouquet Claire wanted something compact but with plenty of softness and texture.  The flowers chosen were scabious, lisianthus, white thistle, stocks, craspedia, daisies, lavender, waxflower, cornflowers, rosemary and eucalyptus.

Bridesmaids had a similar design to the bride but slightly smaller with less of the larger blooms. Buttonholes were the classic focal design.

Massive thanks to the talented Ellie Grace Photography for the images.  Enjoy!

Destination Weddings and Honeymoons Abroad - Editors Picks

Hi all,

So we were super excited to get an e-mail from DWHA (Destination Weddings and Honeymoons Abroad) Magazine asking us to submit images for bridesmaids' hair flowers as they'd like to feature some of our work. Obviously we had a quick dig through our archives and whizzed off a few shots to oblige.

Nestled on page 21 you will find our flowers in a fantastic up do, creating lots of texture and prettiness which was the work of the talented and very lovely Julia Jeckell.  Equally talented and lovely, is studio pal,  Ellie Grace Photography who took this gorgeous shot.

As a bit of an added bonus, our blooms also play a part a little later on in the magazine (page 143) in an editorial which features Light Space Collective colleague, Jenn Edwards, where our flowers have been used in 2 of the up do's.  Photographs taken by Shelley Richmond Photography.

You can pick up your copy from a news agents now, we got ours from trusty old WH Smiths!  Well worth a read as it's full of lovely inspiration.
