Autumn/Winter 2012 Workshops
I'm really pleased to be able to offer not only a whole new season of my relaxed, fun, vintage-inspired workshops, but have found a fabulous new venue to accommodate our growing numbers.
But first, I'd just like to say a HUGE thank you to all my loyal followers and anyone who has enquired about Campbell's Flower School, I've had lots of people wanting to join and so, for everyone, here is all you need to know:-
Where we'll Meet
I'm delighted to say that workshops will be hosted at La Petite Salle a gorgeous, comfy little tea shop in S11 which specialises in fabulous loose leaf teas and delicious freshly baked goodies. Sarah and Beth have promised to look after us, in their usual fantastically friendly fashion, and will provide a selection of hot drinks and scrummy home made cakes as part of the evening.
They're really easy to find on Eccelsall Road, just by Endcliffe Park in S11. The full address is:-
La Petite Salle
1 Rustlings Road
Sheffield
S11 7AA
What you'll be Making
All designs will be in my vintage, pretty, natural style and will feature seasonal flowers. As an ex- floristry tutor, who's used to leading quite big classes, I think it's important that you feel comfortable with the pace of learning. I find the best way to achieve a good balance is for me to demonstrate first and then help and guide you through the design so you make something you'll be really proud to take home.
Here are the dates, times and details you need to know:-
Tuesday 11th September A vintage-inspired container arrangement
Tuesday 2nd October An Autumnal arrangement incorporating a moss
Tuesday 30th October A Pumpkin arrangement for Hallowe'en
Tuesday 20th November A Georgian 'Baroque' design using fruit & veg
Tuesday 4th December Preparing a Christmas Door Wreath
Tuesday 11th December Decorating a Christmas Door Wreath
Tuesday 18th December A Christmas Topiary Tree
Wednesday 19th December A Christmas Table Arrangement
All workshops run from 6.30pm - 8.30pm and cost £35.00 per session, payable in advance.
What you'll need
You pretty much just need to turn up! You might also like to bring your phone (for it's camera) and a notepad and pen to write down the names of the flowers we use. This way, if you love them so much you want to buy them again, you'll know what to ask for!
We provide you with all your flowers, foam, containers, tools and a really rather fabulous apron to wear too!
How to join us
My workshops are always really popular and over-subscribed, so if you email me on campbellsflowers@gmail.com, I'll be sure and book you your place.
Really looking forward to seeing you all soon
