Country Garden Inspiration - A Botanical Gardens British Grown Photo Shoot

Hello all!!

I am sure you can all remember Kate, our lovely intern we had working with us over the Summer, well she's a lady of many talents - one of them being photography.  When she's not studying at Uni, Kate also second shoots for a wedding photographer, here in Sheffield.  So we thought it would be fantastic to combine our creativity and so we put together this amazing photo shoot to not only provide our brides with inspiration for their big day but as a thank you to Kate and give her some fantastic shots for her ever growing portfolio.

If you are planning a summer wedding then this is a blog just for you.  With a country garden feel and British blooms we took full advantage of the amazing venue at Sheffield's gorgeous Botanical Gardens. So grab a cup of tea and get comfy while you browse through the amazing pics and think about your perfect day.

Something we are particularly proud of is this interchangeable flower necklace or flower crown. Crafted from locally grown seasonal flowers, we've been finding that flower crowns remain popular but with this interchangeable version you can change the look throughout the day making it a very versatile piece.

As most of you will know, here at Campbell's Flowers we just love our personal touches.  This is something we showcase not only in the weddings that we do but also in our photo shoots.  It was a beautiful summer's day a couple of years ago that Tracey herself got married in the Botanical Gardens and it is also her gorgeous wedding dress that her daughter is modelling in the shoot.

Its hard not to smile when you see these uplifting yellow bouquets.  A touch of yellow is such a lovely idea for a summer wedding.  We love these bouquets which feature sunflowers - they almost seem to smile at you as look them.  Absolutely amazing!

The following pics are of our meadow inspired flowers featuring wheat and cornflowers.  We just love the handpicked look of this bouquet without it looking too messy.  Hand picked with style!

Last but by no means least we have the pinks and purples featuring sweet peas and lavender.  If you are looking for a bouquet with an enchanting fragrance to add little something extra to your wedding then this might just be the one for you.  We really feel that this bouquet optimises the country garden look. What do you think?

So we hope you have found this as fun and inspirational as we did.  We'd also like to say another massive thank you to the wonderful Kate, you can find her work here  You can also find lots more pretty photo shoots on our blog - just follow the link for lots more flowery ideas.

Much love Amy and all at Team Campbell's xxx
