Ali and Jaime's Losehill House Wedding - Peonies, roses and floral curtains

Hi all,

Ali and Jaime got married in June at Losehill House on a gorgeous sunny day, nice enough that Jaime managed to get in a little bike ride before the ceremony. The couple wanted a relaxed feel to the day and by the look of things that's what they got.

Flowers were very important for Ali, so much so that she knew their wedding would have to take plae in June so that she could have a day filled with peonies -  as she has grown up around her mum's love of flowers.  So, as always, T rose to the challenge and came up with some stunning designs.  For her bouquet Ali wanted more flowers than foliage and a round quite compact design.  The flowers chosen were David Austin 'Kira' and 'Patience', white peonies, pale pink peonies, 'Vendella' roses, ranunculus, white spray roses, white stocks and anemones.

The bride and the bridesmaids had little roses in their hair.  For the bridesmaids bouquet Ali went for a similar design to hers, just slightly smaller.  Buttonholes were kept classic and simple with a focal design.

Now we get to the venue flowers, I must admit these are some of the most gorgeous venue flowers I have seen, absolutely stunning.  The pew ends were breath taking but not a patch on the floral curtain made using Peonies.  I just love it.

Ali and Jaime were such a pleasure to work with and the icing on the wedding cake was a brilliant thank you e-mail from the bride herself which we blogged a couple of weeks ago.  Just follow this link to read more.

Massive thanks to HBA Photography for the amazing photographs!
