Hi all,
I can't tell you how over them moon I was when T came to me and told me that we were designing for a wedding and the bride was wearing 'the dress', so let me give you a bit of background. Last year we did a photo shoot with some amazing industry professionals and one of the models was wearing this gorgeous dress by Sassi Holford called Marilyn from The White Room and I fell totally in love. The design, fit and style is right up my street so I was so excited when I heard that the lovely Amelia would be wearing it.
Amelia and Richard got married at Losehill House in June this year, a venue that we love to work at, such stunning views.
After chatting with Amelia it was clear to us that she wanted a very soft romantic (just like the dress) feel to the day and designs. For the brides bouquet Amelia asked for an asymmetric design, quite messy with plenty of foliage. The flowers T chose were David Austin 'Kiera', David Austin 'Darcy', raspberry protea, pale pink and pink astilbe, spray roses, scented stocks, 'Sarah Bernhardt' peony, small cerise roses, pale pink lisianthus, olive foliage, eucalyptus, heather and ferns. Amelia also had matching hair flowers attached to the prettiest headband.
The couple had 2 bridesmaids one of which was a super cute flower girl. For their bouquets they chose flowers similar to the brides bouquet but a little smaller more compact design. The flower girls also had a stunning little flower crown.
Buttonholes were kept simple and classic.
The ceremony table design was just incredible, as you will see in the pictures. T had such fun designing this show stopping arrangement with lots of wow factor!
